The home has been given a new lease of life beginning with the addition of a luxurious master bedroom featuring a stylish ensuite and a generous sized deluxe walk-in-robe.

The heart of the home is the kitchen, magnificently renovated to combine period charm with the modern era. The stone top Island bench provides plenty of storage with soft-closing drawers. The eye-catching appeal of the kitchen is the pressed metal splashback. Other features include automatic opening overhead cupboards, large pantry and quality fitted lighting and appliances including built-in coffee machine, two electric wall ovens and gas cook top. Mention also to the original open fireplace as a particular feature to this area.

The spacious open plan living area flows beyond the massive concertina glass doors to the renovated alfresco entertainment area. This area features an outdoor kitchen with wine fridge and built-in BBQ. And outdoor open fireplace adds warmth and the complete area is complimented by rectified floor tiles.

Expanding from the open living area is the music room with the perfect north-east aspect. The original family room remains with gas fire place and beautiful parquetry flooring, updated only by a fresh coat of paint.

The formal lounge room contains the original marble mantlepiece and features ornate plaster cornices. The three remaining over-sized built-in bedrooms have been given a fresh look with new carpets and paint work.

The bathroom remains a timeless classic featuring original tile work and furnishings with the addition of a new vanity. A second shower room was removed to make way for a new laundry featuring stone benchtops and adequate storage.

The seamless join between the old and new is evident with the internal timber polished flooring. The polished timber floors to the new areas were matched with the existing 1950’s timber floors at the entry of the home. The rendered facade of the home was also matched to the new external areas.

The end result of this impressive renovation was achieved through a joint effort by Gavin and the team at Antonio Building and our clients.
